The Wii sold 1.1 million units since its launch on November 19, the PS3 came in at only 687,300 units sold in 2006, figures from NPD Funworld revealed.
Both the PS3 and the Wii toped the Xbox 360’s North American launch figures, which came to only 607,000 units in the back end of 2005.
