A few days ago, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that Singstar would be hitting PS3 over in their neck of the woods in December. However, SCEA will not commit to a date for the North American release.
Recently the website 1UP got a hold of Sony's VP of Marketing for PlayStation, Peter Dille to ask him what the status of the karaoke title is and to confirm it was not a technology problem.
"Yeah, it's not a technology issue at all. It'll be a disc-based product and that'll be a great experience in and of itself, but obviously we're equally if not more excited to deliver content via the PlayStation Network and have consumers experience new songs that way," said Dille.
