Japanese digital entertainment analyzers Media Create have released console sales figures for Japan
Earlier today our sister site Nintendo Revolution posted the sales figures for consoles sales in Japan for last week.
At the top of the list was both the Nintendo DS Lite and original DS. Surprisingly, in 3rd place was the PS2, which sold 34,169 consoles. Holding the 4th spot, was the Sony PSP, selling 31,077 units.
Interestingly enough, the first of the next gen consoles, the Xbox 360 continues to sell poorly in Japan with only 1,415 consoles sold.
