It's about time!
So much for that $399 PlayStation 3 that PSM was speculating about; Sony has announced a November 17 release date and it's...well...more.
For the US, $499 for the 20GB PS3, and $599 for the deluxe 60GB version. For us people to the north, CAN $549 and CAN $659 is what we'll be forking over. The good news is that both flavors will have Blu-ray, which makes the PS3 about half the price of a stand-alone Blu-Ray player. So has Sony effectively priced itself out of the market, or will people be willing to shell out the big bucks for what arguably will be the best console out there?
