The good news is that the PS3 Warhawk Beta is now available on the PlayStation Network. The bad news is that it's a limited beta, so you won't know if you've been accepted until you power up the ole PlayStation 3 and check.
The massive remake clocks in at 776 MB, and the download is supposedly the full game. But we can't confirm for sure because the servers are so darn slow at the moment.
Warhawk was originally released on PlayStation in 1995 and later included as part of Sony's Greatest Hits lineup.
