PS3 price ain't nothing but a thing
Every day I get precariously close to getting into a bloody fistfight over the cost of the PS3. Knowing that I'm a PlayStation 3 true believer, random co-workers will taunt me with barbs like "Hey, Richard! Going to get a second mortgage to pay for that PS3?" or "How can Sony dare price a console at $500? I remember when Atari games cost a nickel!"
Jerks.
But now, thanks to Curmudgeon Gamer, I finally have some backup to my argument that the PS3 isn't really so expensive when you take into account a little thing called inflation. There are nine, count 'em, nine consoles that cost more in today's dollars than the PS3. Heck, even the precious Atari 2600 costs $659.41 in today's dollars.
