No huge announcements from the GDC, but the PS3 will be playable at the E3

Though no major announcements were made at the GDC yesterday, Sony did unveil several key pieces of information worth mentioning.
Confirming the launch date Sony Worldwide Studios president Phil Harrison revealed that the next-generation console will launch worldwide in "early November." Last week we were given the more general launch period of ?November.?
Secondly, Dylan Jobe of Sony Computer Entertainment's Incognito Studios confirmed that the PS3 would in fact be playable at E3 this May. Jobe noted that the remake of Warhawk will be playable at the event, meaning there will be PS3 kiosks on the show floor. However, it is still unclear whether they will use final hardware, or SDK ? as was the case with the Xbox 360 at last years event.
