There has been criticism of PS3 from various devs since day one who claim the console is more expensive to develop for than Xbox 360.
Nique Fajors, Capcom?s VP of marketing, isn't having any of that. Although the company recently ditched Sony's console for Monster Hunter 3 and went to Wii for that particular title, Capcom still defends the platform.
"If I?m going to make a blanket statement, I?d say that Xbox 360 and PS3 are basically equal [in terms of development costs],? he told Next Generation. "When you look at the tools and technologies and comfort that people have, given that the Xbox 360 has a year lead on PlayStation 3, there are of course more technologies available for a certain genre. So that can make life a little bit easier."
