PlayStation 3 hits 80GB in South Korea
Are you ready for an 80GB PS3?
It seems like just yesterday the 20GB PlayStation 3 faded away into oblivion -- now comes news from IGN that there's a new 80 gigabyte model. The only problem is that it's only available in South Korea, whose launch date June 16. The new version will be sold for 518,000 won (US $554).
There is one benefit to launching late besides a larger hard drive -- more titles. They will have a whopping 15 games available at launch: Ridge Racer 7, Resistance, Genji, Motorstorm, Virtua fighter 5, Armored Core 4, Untold Legends Dark Kingdom, Blazing Angels, Gundam: Target in Sight, The Godfather, Def Jam Icon, Need for Speed Carbon, Fight Night, Call of Duty 3, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
